I am a ABPN Board Certified Psychiatrist and hold an active Colorado medical license.

I earned my medical degree at University of Nevada Reno, School of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency at University of Texas, San Antonio Health Science Center.

Early in my career, I served as an active duty physician at Brooke Army Medical Center, first as adjunct faculty and then as Chief for Psychiatry Consultation Service.

I continued on to the US Air Force Academy as the Medical Director for the base Mental Health Clinic. After my service, I started my private practice, Rinnova Psychiatry, in Colorado Springs in 2023, focusing therapy, TBI evaluations and other specialty psychiatric evaluations.

Over the years, I’ve recognized the potential for natural and holistic methods for psychiatric treatment, including the re-emergence of the psychedelic movement, while maintaining an evidence focused approach to my care.

I’m currently training at Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI), which is a CO approved program for clinical facilitation of Ketamine and Psilocybin Assisted Therapy (licensing application upon completion), while serving pro-bono on the Natural Medicine Special Advisory Board for the State of Colorado. I’m also involved locally for advocacy for Veteran matters and legislative measures to support these powerful natural medicines.
